Vadatech announces VT040R
Henderson, NV – February 28, 2024 – VadaTech, a leading manufacturer of integrated systems, embedded boards, enabling software and application-ready platforms, announces the VT040R. The VT040R incorporates the Intelligent Platform Management Interface (IPMI v2.0) and the PICMG 3.x specification for mezzanine modules. It is VadaTech’s 4th generation shelf manager product and provides a complete hardware and software solution in the size of a credit card using less than 3W. The VT040R can be deployed on any custom management carriers for the rapid development of dedicated Shelf Mangers on an ATCA, MTCA and VPX module. This allows the ATCA, MTCA and VPX module to replace a dedicated Shelf Manager, thereby reducing overall system cost.
VadaTech’s Scorpionware™ software, which is available to anyone who purchases the VT040R, can also be used to access information about the current state of the Shelf or the Carrier, obtain information such as the FRU population, or monitor alarms, power management, current sensor values, and the overall health of the Shelf. The software GUI is very powerful, providing a Virtual Carrier and FRU construct for a simple, effective interface.
