Radar Satellite Communication System
EMCOMO supplies MicroTCA Systems with CPU, FPGA and high-speed ADCs/DACs
The Radar Satellite Communication System is used for communication with radar satellites via high-speed ADC and DAC channels.
The system is based on the following components:
- 2U 19" MTCA.4 system with 12 single-width AMC slots
- universal 110-240V AC power module with 720W (optional: second redundant AC power module)
- MCH (system controller) with fully managed Gigabit Ethernet switch, PCIe switch and JTAG virtual probe for FPGA IP-core development
- Xilinx Kintex Ultrascale FPGA board with 4 ADC channels 3.2 GSPS @ 12 bit and 4 DAC channels 12 GSPS @ 16 bit
- Intel Xeon processor with 1TB SSD on carrier board, PCIe Gen.3
System has been built in extended operating temperature range including conformal coating for operation in harsh environmental conditions.
