6U OpenVPX ARM A72 Computing Node

Description:

VX6124, a 6U VPX 200k+ DMIPS processing blade features 40G Ethernet connectivity, enabling powerful HPEC architectures for the next decade. VX6124 is the 6U version of an architecture designed for long term programs and harsh environments, ideal for applications requiring outstanding bandwidth and digital security. This architecture can be used as a vehicle for 40G data plane system experiments (e.g. together with  VX6940 40G/100G switch)

The VX6124 NXP QorIQ Layerscape LX2160A processor is coupled with up to 32GB DDR4 memory. The air cooled version is thermally and mechanically designed to optimize the use of the XMC-GPU91 Radeon  E9171, in addition to the massive computing power offered by the main CPU, another 1.2 TFlops of computing power via its eight compute units.
