AMC219
14 Port Managed Layer 2 Switch, single-width AMC module
A MicroTCA switch module is a board that routes high-speed data between front I/O connectors and modules in a MicroTCA chassis, e.g.:
- Ethernet (e.g. 100GE)
- PCI Express
- Serial RapidIO
- InfiniBand
- Custom high-speed serial fabrics
As a standardized platform of PICMG MicroTCA systems are typically used in medical applications, telecommunications, defense as well as in measurement systems for industrial and scientific applications (e.g. particle physics).
