A MicroTCA chassis or crate is the enclosure and backplane that holds and connects the modules in a MicroTCA system.
It typically contains:
AMC slots for FPGA, CPU, RFSoC, digital I/O, storage, and other modules
An MCH slot for the MicroTCA Carrier Hub or an integrated MCH (optionally redundant)
A backplane for high-speed data, clocks, management, and power
Power modules (optionally redundant)
Cooling fans (optionally redundant)
The chassis provides both the mechanical structure and the electrical infrastructure for the system.
As a standardized platform of PICMG MicroTCA systems are typically used in medical applications, telecommunications, defense as well as in measurement systems for industrial and scientific applications (e.g. particle physics).
Our portfolio contains MicroTCA chassis / crates according to MTCA.0, MTCA.1, MTCA.3 and MTCA.4 standards, air-cooled and conduction cooled, with or without RTM support, for deployment and development.
Below you find a selection of available chassis and crates which can be modified on project base.
